In 1994 Cathedral Prep Seminary began a campaign
entitled "Securing Priestly Ministry and Church Leadership in the New
Millennium." Through this campaign Cathedral was able to identify and
appreciate the extensive list of Priest and Lay leaders who have
graduated from Cathedral Preparatory Seminary since 1914.
Five years after the campaign, Cathedral's Alumni Association found
it fitting to honor such extraordinary leaders by establishing the
Immaculata Award. The Immaculata Award is the highest
honor bestowed on a Cathedral Prep Seminary graduate. This year's
