Walk-a-Thon

On Tuesday, November 22, Cathedral Prep held its annual Walkathon, a fundraiser to help raise money for the school’s activities. Due to inclement weather, however, the walk and events were held in the school’s auditorium. Pictured are highlights from the day’s events, which featured a five mile walk followed by a Sophomore-Junior basketball game as well as a Freshmen-Senior basketball match.

Father Marano Annual
Ping-Pong Tournament
2005
On Wednesday, November 23, as a culmination to a very busy week for Cathedral Prep, Bishop Catanello said Mass for the students. This was followed by a brunch attended by all the students along with the bishop and the Fourth Annual Father Marano Ping Pong Championship Game, which featured Senior Christopher Dawson battling Junior Matthew Turturro for the Championship title. Chris Dawson eventually took the title in two matches. Pictured is an intense scene from the championship match and the presentation of the trophy to Chris Dawson by Mr. Anthony De Nardo, Director of Student Activities.
